360-Degree Feedback Weighted Score Calculator
Calculate a weighted composite score from multiple rater groups (self, manager, peers, direct reports) in a 360-degree feedback process. Each group's average score is multiplied by its assigned weight to produce a single overall performance score.

Formula
Weighted Score = Σ (Scorei × Weighti / 100)
Where:
- Scorei = Average rating given by rater group i on a 0–10 scale
- Weighti = Percentage weight assigned to rater group i
- All weights must sum to 100%
- The result is a single composite score on a 0–10 scale
Example: Manager (8.0, 40%) + Peers (7.0, 30%) + Direct Reports (6.5, 20%) + Self (7.5, 10%)
= (8.0 × 0.40) + (7.0 × 0.30) + (6.5 × 0.20) + (7.5 × 0.10)
= 3.20 + 2.10 + 1.30 + 0.75 = 7.35 / 10
Performance Bands:
- 9.0 – 10.0 → Outstanding
- 7.5 – 8.99 → Exceeds Expectations
- 6.0 – 7.49 → Meets Expectations
- 4.0 – 5.99 → Needs Improvement
- 0.0 – 3.99 → Unsatisfactory
Assumptions & References
- All rater group scores are expressed on a uniform 0–10 scale. If your survey uses a different scale (e.g., 1–5), convert scores before entry: Converted = (Raw − Min) / (Max − Min) × 10.
- Weights reflect the organisational policy on how much each rater group's opinion counts. Common allocations: Manager 40%, Peers 30%, Direct Reports 20%, Self 10%.
- Weights must sum to exactly 100%; the calculator enforces this constraint.
- Scores represent the mean of all individual ratings within each group, calculated externally before entry.
- Performance band thresholds are illustrative and should be calibrated to your organisation's rating scale and culture.
