Garage Door Size Calculator

Calculate the recommended garage door width and height based on your vehicle dimensions and required clearances.

Results will appear here.

Formula

Door Width = (Vehicle Width × Number of Cars) + (2 × Side Clearance) + ((Number of Cars − 1) × Between-Car Clearance)

Door Height = Vehicle Height + Top Clearance

The calculated minimums are then rounded up to the nearest standard garage door size.
