Projected Annual Sessions = (Consistency Rate ÷ 100) × 365

Benefit Tier: Established ≥ 70% consistency & ≥ 15 min/session; Developing ≥ 40% & ≥ 8 min; otherwise Beginner.

Assumptions & References

  • Streak Score weights: 50% consistency, 30% current-to-longest streak ratio, 20% longest-to-tracked ratio — designed to reward both regularity and endurance.
  • Benefit tiers are based on thresholds from mindfulness research: Hölzel et al. (2011) found grey matter changes after ~27 min/day over 8 weeks; Zeidan et al. (2010) showed cognitive benefits after just 4 days of 20-min sessions.
  • The 8-minute minimum threshold references Creswell et al. (2014), which found stress-buffering effects with brief daily sessions.
  • Projected annual figures assume your current consistency rate remains constant over 365 days.
  • Consistency grades follow a standard academic scale applied to habit-formation research benchmarks.
