National Tutoring Programme Subsidy Calculator

Estimate the government subsidy and your school's contribution for NTP tutoring sessions in England. The government subsidises 60% of tuition costs for eligible schools, with schools contributing the remaining 40%.

Formula

Total Tuition Cost = Sessions × Session Length (hrs) × Hourly Rate (£)

Government Subsidy = Total Tuition Cost × Subsidy Rate

School Contribution = Total Tuition Cost × (1 − Subsidy Rate)

Cost per Pupil = School Contribution ÷ Number of Pupils

Cost per Session = School Contribution ÷ Number of Sessions
